Quite a while ago we found out that a DFX2 was on pre-order on a site. After I had emailed the website, they had said that DFX2 was indeed a complete new title.
Now today, supersixfour from delta-force.info, sent me a PM:
Delta Force Xtreme2 will not be based on the Delta Force 2 levels. It will include entirely new terrains but the play will be much closer to the classic Delta Force games, Land Warrior, and BHD, than the first Xtreme. Due to the large number of terrains and assets it will ship on a DVD. Official screen shots should be released soon. There's no firm release date yet as we are still coordinating with our EU distributor, but it looks likely the EU release will be very close to the US release date.

THQ announced today that a multiplayer beta of Relic Entertainment's upcoming sci-fi RTSWarhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II would be available exclusively to purchasers of the Dawn of War: Soulstormexpansion pack on January 21st. The beta will be generally available a week later on January 28. According to the release, the multiplayer beta will allow players to play with all four extant races in the game across five multiplayer maps.The highly anticipated real-time strategy title is the next iteration of the company's hit Dawn of War franchise and is based on a violent far-future world created by Games Workshop. After making a splash in the RTS community with the original Dawn of War and the World War II-themed Company of Heroes, Relic surprised fans of the franchise by radically re-working the startegic basis for the game for the sequel. Rather than focusing on base-building and hordes of units, Dawn of War II would instead be about smaller numbers of troops that players need to closely manage. GameSpy recently went hands-on with the full version of the multiplayer game. Warhamnmer 40,000: Dawn of War II is scheduled for release on February 23rd.
